Climate Action is urgently needed and the European progressive movement has always been a key driver to advance the Just Transition – may it be on the local, the national, the European or the global level. That is why we want to stress this urgency and put forward our common proposals during the COP25 in Madrid this December.
Together with PSOE, PES will host a public discussion in the Green Zone of the COP25 at the Feria de Madrid in Madrid from 12:00 to 13:00 to debate on the COP25 with Teresa Ribera, Spanish Minister for the Ecological Transition. Iratxe Garcia, S&D Group President will open the session with introductory remarks. Maria Joao Rodrigues, FEPS President, will conclude the debate bringing also to the discussion all the cotent and policy proposals produced by FEPS Climate Justice Steering Committee in the last months.
