12:30 - 14:00
In the framework of the annual Africa week organised by the S&D group, the Foundation for European Progressive Studies will organise a seminar together with Foundation Max Van der Stoel, from the Netherlands.
The discussion will invite speakers to look at how much and in what way climate change and security are intrinsically linked, looking at specific cases in Africa where this is a reality.
It will look at the causes, the processes and aims to offer some guidance in how to speed up climate change prevention which should hopefully in turn help improve security and living standards.
Interpretation will be provided in English and French
