Promoting Stability and Development in Africa: How to Foster Cooperation between Public and Private Sectors


On February 10th 2016, The Foundation for European Progressive Studies along with the Istituto Affari Internazionali, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, organised a high-level seminar focusing on 'Fostering Stability and Development in Sub- Saharan Africa: Analysis and Perspectives on Public-Private Partnerships’. The seminar was dedicated to presenting the results of in-depth research conducted on the issues of promoting stability and development in Sub Saharan Africa through cooperation between public and private sectors, as well as the new opportunities that exist for a renewed EU-Africa Partnership in this sector.

In addition to the African partners, this seminar, featured a total of approximately 20 high-level representatives from the European Institutions, academia, think-tanks and civil society, who contributed to a series of very interesting discussions.
